The Wildcat SPB 820 self-propelled compost turner

The Wildcat SPB 820 Compost Turner is in a class by itself. With a larger drum diameter than any other turner manufatured more of the windrow is worked as the turner passes through the windrow.  This means the best aeration possible and faster ground speeds - up to 50 feet per minute! Wildcat customers report finishing their compost 2 -3 weeks quicker than previously used machines. Note the 6" drum shaft and bearing. Wildcat has the strongest drum in the industry.

The SPB 820 will turn a windrow that is a full 8 feet high and 20 feet wide. For some sites windrow size and material cycle times are critical. Wildcat is aware of these issues and offers the SPB 820 in response. a 425 HP, 12.5 liter John Deere engine powers the turner.

Wildcat self-propelled turners are easily trailerable, making movement between sites as easy as possible. Wildcat also offers Trail King double-drop trailers with a detachable goose-neck which allows you to haul the turner or other equipment. Trail King trailers are available from Wildcat at a lower cost than competitors optional transport kit that can only haul the compost turner.

COMPOST TURNING INFORMATION

• Material will be fully composted in less time – generally 8 – 12 weeks.
• More consistent end product.
• Wildcat's drum design puts more air into the windrow making the composting process more efficient. This means that the material will finish quicker and there will be fewer overs when it is screened.

• Wildcat has more horsepower per cubic yard of material than all other manufacturers.
• The fluid coupler transfers nearly 100% of the power to the drum and simplifies the hydraulic system. This eliminates heating problems.
• Wildcat fluid couplers also provide shock resistance and can be engaged at any RPM; this eliminates operator error.
• Poly chain® drive system eliminates V-belts and chains providing less maintenance.
• Self-propelled units have a larger cab.
• Sealed drum bearings isolate the drum bearings from the material.
• Wildcat offers stainless steel tunnel liners not available with other manufacturers.
